Qualification & Experience
1. Non Invasive Cardiology Assistant -2 - Graduation in any stream, worked under
Cardiologist with three years experience in Medical College or recognized Medical
Institute in Non Invasive Cardiology ( Echo, TMT, Holter)
2. Plastic Surgery and Burn Attendant- 3 – 10th from recognized Board. Two
years course in Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre.
3. Nuclear Medicine Technologist-1 M.Sc in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent from a
recognized University/Institution with one year experience in Nuclear Medicine after
M.Sc. Should possess certificate from regulatory body (AERB, BARC, Mumbai) to
work as RSO in Nuclear Medicine.
OR
(i) M.Sc. in Physics/Biophysics/Medical Physics/Chemistry/BiochemistryBbiotechnology/
Bioinformatics from a recognized University/Institution.
(ii) Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Radioisotopes Techniques (DMRIT) from
recognized University/Institute.
4. Research Assistant-1 – Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Life Sciences with
minimum two years of research experience of handling sophisticated instruments
with strong background in Molecular biology and tissue culture techniques in a
recognized health institution of national importance or other recognized institute.
Desirable: Candidate with PhD, highly-motivated with a good track record,
experience in clinical research as established by publication in indexed journals.
5. Medical Officer (Gynecologist) – M.D. (Gynae) from recognized institution.
Registration with Punjab Medical Council. Preferred M.B.B.S. with atleast a House
Surgeon/Medical Officer in Gynae and Obst.
6. Medical Officer – M.B.B.S from recognized institution. Registration with Punjab
Medical Council.
7. Junior Engineer (Mechanical) – Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
from recognized institution with training in HVAC Engineering. The candidate
having experience in operation & maintenance of A.C. Plant will be preferred.
General terms and conditions:
1. The applicant must enclose demand draft as under Non-refundable in favour

2. The University has right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any
stage without citing any reason or not to fill any or all the posts.
3. It is not obligatory to call each candidate for interview who fulfills the
prescribed qualification.
4. The post(s) can also be filled on contract basis if need be.
5. Max Age limit:
a. For faculty member upto 42 years relax able upto 52 years for all
states/Central Govt. employee.
b. For retired person upto age of 65 years.
c. Relaxation in upper age limit as per Pb. Govt. rules.
6. Retired Faculty or Ex-serviceman may apply for the post of Medical
Officer.
7. The applicants applying for the other post should not be above 38 years of
age on the last date of receipt of application form. Relaxation in upper age
limit as per Punjab Govt. rules.
8. The Application on prescribed proforma must accompany self attested
copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, marks sheet, degree,
experience etc.
9. Last date and time of receipt of application form in the office of the
Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road,

10. The applications received without a valid bank draft or without legible
copies of documents or apparently containing incomplete information and
those received after prescribed date & time will be summarily rejected.
11. Applicant must possess the requisite qualification by the last date of receipt
