Qualification:-
Post No. 1: Junior Research Fellow – One post (Chemistry, DST, New Delhi, sponsored project).
Emoluments: Rs. 16000/- p.m. + HRA for first two years and Rs. 18000/- + HRA after two years (for CSIR/UGC-NET-JRF qualified candidates); Rs. 12000/- p.m. for first two years + HRA and Rs. 14000/- p.m. + HRA after two years (for CSIR/UGC-LS and GATE qualified candidates).
Qualifications: JRF M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/inorganic/applied/ material/physical/analytical) with minimum 55% from a recognized university with NET/GATE qualifications (candidates from any other branch of chemistry will also be considered based on their performance in the Interview).
Post No. 2: Project Assistant (Level II) – one post (Chemistry, CSIR, New Delhi, sponsored project).
Qualifications: Project Assistant (Level II) M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/ applied/ material/physical/analytical) with minimum 55% from a recognized university. Candidates with NET/GATE qualifications will be preferred. Please note that, candidates from any other branch of chemistry will also be considered based on their performance in the Interview.
Emoluments: Rs. 14000/- p.m. Consolidated (for MSc with minimum 55% marks + 2 years experience) ; Rs. 12000/- p.m. Consolidated (for Fresh MSc with minimum 55% marks) for first two years and Rs. 14000/- p.m. Consolidated after two years.
General Conditions:-
Age: Should not be more than 28 years for JRF/PA-II on October 17, 2013 (Relaxation as per CSIR rules).
CSMCRI is a national research laboratory under CSIR, which is well equipped with research facilities of international standards (website: www.csmcri.org). Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for the positions of Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant Level-II, to work in the area of biopolymers, polysaccharides, polymeric materials, synthesis of sustainable materials, ionic liquids and natural product chemistry under projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, New Delhi.
Interested candidates meeting the above requirements may attend the walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed biodata, original certificates along with their attested photocopies and a passport size photograph on October 17, 2013 at 9.30 A.M. at CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G B Marg, Bhavnagar-364002.
