Essential:
With Doctoral degree: Ph.D.
(Chemistry/Agricultural chemicals)
With M.Sc. degree: M.Sc. Chemistry
with specialization in Organic
Chemistry or Agricultural chemicals
with First division or 60 % marks or
equivalent overall grade point average
with at least two years research
experience as evidenced from
fellowship/ associateship/ training/
other engagements. Published research
papers will be desirable.
Desirable:
Experience in natural product chemistry
including isolation and characterization
of phytochemicals.

8. Age: Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women (relaxation as per rules for SC/ST
candidates)
9. General Instructions:
The eligible candidates may attend the interview on 15th July, 2013 at 10.00 hrs. They are
requested to bring two sets of bio-data, attested copies of certificates along with originals and No
Objection Certificate from the present employer. No TA/DA will be paid. The above position is
purely contractual, coterminous with the project / scheme, and offered initially for a period of
one year and further extendable based on satisfactory performance for the remaining period of
the project. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments /
absorption either in this institute or ICAR. Late reporting will not be entertained. Canvassing in
any form will disqualify the candidature. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all
respect.
