Applications are invited for a walk-in-interview for one (01) post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in
the Department of Energy, Tezpur University for a joint research project under Indo-European Union
collaboration entitled “Strengthening networking on BiomAss research and biowaste conversionbiotechnologY
for EurOpe India integration (SAHYOG)”, sponsored by DBT, Govt. of India.
Essential Qualification : M.Tech. in Energy Technology/Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry
with two years of research experience.
Desirable Qualification: R&D experience in the field of biomass energy in a reputed laboratory.
Emolument : Rs. 18,000/- (Rupees eighteen thousand) only + 10% HRA per month.
Duration : Initially for a period of 01 (one) year which may be extended till completion of the
project or till further order.
Date & venue of Interview: 19/06/2013 at 11.00 a.m. in the Department of Energy, Tezpur University,
Tezpur, Dist. Sonitpur, Assam.
Age : The Candidate should not be more than 32 years of age on the stipulated last day of
receiving applications in response to the advertisement. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years
in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged categories.
