    Qualification:-Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant (Level II) – Two posts (Chemistry) and Project Assistant-Level-I (CSIR, New Delhi, sponsored project).

    Emoluments: Rs. 16000/- p.m. + HRA for two years and Rs. 18000/- + HRA after two years ( CSIR/UGC-NET-JRF qualified candidates) ; Rs. 14000/- p.m. Consolidated for two years and Rs. 16000/- p.m. Consolidated after two years (Fresh CSIR/UGC-LS and GATE qualified candidates) ; Rs. 14000/- p.m. Consolidated (MSc with minimum 55% marks + 2 years experience) ; Rs. 12000/- p.m. Consolidated (Fresh MSc with minimum 55% marks) for two years and Rs. 14000/- p.m. Consolidated after two years.

    Project Assistant–I : Rs. 10,000/- p.m. Consolidated ( BSc with minimum 55% marks + 2 years experience) ; Rs. 8,000/- p.m. Consolidated ( Fresh BSc with minimum 55% marks) for one year and Rs. 10,000/- p.m. Consolidated after one year.

    Qualifications: JRF/Project Assistant (Level II) M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Applied/ Material/Physical/Analytical) with minimum 55% from a recognized university. Project Assistant (Level I) : BSc with minimum 55% marks with chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized university.

    Candidates with NET/GATE qualifications will be preferred. For JRF/PA-II a written screening test will be carried out. Personal interview will be held for all candidates.

    General Conditions:-
    Age: 28 years for JRF/PA-II and 25 years for PA-I as on February 4, 2013 (Relaxation as per CSIR rules).

    CSMCRI is a national research laboratory under CSIR, which is well equipped with research facilities of international standards (website: www.csmcri.org). Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for the positions of Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant Level-II, to work in the area of polysaccharides, ionic liquids and natural product chemistry under projects funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi.
