    P(10-1)Improvement in Biodegradability of Cresylic Spent Caustic Waste Stream
     

    RA/SRF: (1 Post) 

    Eligibility : Must have either of the following qualifications: (1) Ph. D. in Chemistry or Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering or Industrial Pollution Abatement or (2) M.Sc. in Chemistry or Environmental Science with 2 years research experience in related area or (3) M.E./ M. Tech. in Environmental Engineering or Industrial Pollution Abatement or other similar specialization with basic degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering. Research Experience in wastewater treatment is must. Mere fulfillment of the above qualifications and experience requirement does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
     

    Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.16000 + /- p.m.
     

    Job Profile : The candidate is expected to conduct the experimental work on the wastewater treatment using adsorption and oxidation processes and prepare the detailed/ interim project report.

    Eligibility : Ph.D. in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Synthesis
     

    Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.22000/- p.m.
     

    Job Profile : Candidate should be able to handle methodology development using organopalladium compounds. Should be experienced in literature search, report writing and data analysis. Experience in organic synthesis, heterocycle synthesis and chiral catalysis will be added advantage.

    P(10-4)Tuning the MCE (DeltaS and DeltaT) properties of molecular coolants
     

    RA/JRF: (1 Post) 

    Eligibility : The candidate is expected to have M.Sc degree in Chemistry with minimum of 55% and should have NET/GATE qualification. Age limit: 28 The research associate is expected to have a Ph.D., degree in Inorganic chemistry, mainly coordination chemistry. Provided the candidate will be given preference having experience in solving single crystal by x-ray diffraction, molecular magnetism, expertise in organic chemistry apart from standard spectroscopic techniques like IR, NMR, Uv-Vis, fluorescence etc. Age limit: 35 For both RA/JRF position, the selected candidates will be called for interview either in person/or through skype (in case candidate apply from abroad).
     

    Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.12000-22000/- p.m.

    Job Profile : The candidate is expected to synthesize multi-dentate ligands.Coordination chemistry of lanthanides and transition metal complexes using these ligands needs to isolated as single crystal and study their electronic and magnetic properties.
