Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Basic Sciences of this institute.
1. Name of the Temporary Assignment : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 posts.
2. Name of the temporary research Project : “Design, synthesis and Biological Evaluation of
Novel FtsZ inhibitors as Potential anti Tubercular
Agents”.
3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt of India.
4. Consolidated Fellowship* : Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA
5. Qualification & Experience : 1st class M. Sc in Chemistry (sound knowledge
Organic Chemistry) with valid NET-JRF or NET-LS or
GATE. Candidates not qualified in NET/GATE need not apply.
6. Work Descriptions : Organic multistep synthesis, synthesis and
characterization of small molecules related to this project.
7. Duration : One year and may be extended based on the
performance of the candidates upto maximum of three year.
* The emolument is subject to educational qualification or eligibility criteria as per DST OM No. A. 20020/11/97-IFD dated 31.03.2010.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview.
