Advertisement for the Post of Two Research Fellowships in Organic Chemistry
Applications on plain paper along with complete bio-data including e-mail id, a recent
photograph, xerox copies of degree certificates with mark sheets, certificates in support of
age, other academic credentials, experience and two references are invited from the
interested candidates for the following two major research projects sponsored by
DST/UGC, New Delhi.
DST Project
1. Area of the research : Studies on the rhodium carbenoids towards the synthesis of
spiro-heterocycles, indole alkaloids and their asymmetric
reactions
2. Name and number of the post : Junior Research Fellow (One)
3. Qualification : M. Sc. in Chemistry / Organic Chemistry with first class.
Desirable qualification: Pass in NET/Lectureship/GATE
examination
4. Emoluments : As per DST regulations + admissible HRA/MA
5. Duration : upto 13th November 2014
UGC Project
1. Area of the research : Studies on the synthesis of macrocyclic lactones and
lactams via ring closing metathesis reaction
2. Name and number of the post : Project Fellow (One)
3. Qualification : M. Sc. in Chemistry / Organic Chemistry with first class.
Desirable qualification: Pass in NET/Lectureship/GATE
examination.
4. Emoluments : As per UGC regulations + admissible HRA/MA
5. Duration : upto 17th July 2014
Application along with relevant documents should reach on or before 11th October 2013 to the
following address. Selected candidate will be allowed to register for Ph.D. Degree. The post is
purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the
interview.
