Walk-in-Interview for the selection of one JRF

Candidates are requested to appear before the selection committee at 3.30 PM on 17.08.2013 (Saturday) for the selection of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST (New Delhi) sponsored project entitled “Synthesis, structure, characterization and magnetic properties of transition metal complexes with multidenate ligands” under Dr. Swapan K. Chandra, Department of Chemistry, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan-731235.
Qualification: Candidate should be M. Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic / Organic specialization) with at least 55% marks and NET/GATE/equivalent qualification. Stipend, allowance, tenure of the fellowship and all other terms and conditions will be governed by DST (SERB) and Visva-Bharati (a Central University) rules.
The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years and the upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to schedules castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Applicants requested to carry a brief bio-data along with the attested copies of all testimonials and certificates along with originals to be eligible for interview.
They are requested to contact the office of Principal, Siksha Bhavana, Visva-Bharati (a Central University), Santiniketan, on the date and time specified above at least half an hour before the commencement of interview. Please note that no TA/DA will be given to the candidates appear for interview.
