RA/SRF/JRF position available for CSIR funded project in computational modelling
Project Title: New computer modelling techniques for studying Nanoalloy clusters
Research Description: The project involves developing soft-computing algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm, Artificial neural networks, and stochastic methods to study various Nanoalloy cluster systems. Such techniques may be extended further to study the dynamics of chemical/biological systems like nucleobases, peptides, proteins etc.
Project Duration: Initial appointment is for one year and may be extended every year up to a maximum of 3 years solely based on performance.
Desirables:
RA position: Ph.D degree in Chemistry/Physics/Chemical Engineering/Computer Science/Computational Biology/Bioinformatics/Mathematics, with proven experience in scripting, programming and soft-computing techniques.
SRF: M.Sc or equivalent degree with 2 year Research experience as a JRF in Chemistry/Physics/Computer Science/Chemical Engineering/Bioinformatics/Mathematics with experience in programming.
JRF: M.Sc or equivalent degree in Chemistry/Physics/Bioinformatics/Mathematics/Computer Science/Chemical Engineering with some basic knowledge in programming.
