Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and two Field Attendants in Indian Council of Medical Research (GoI) funded research project“ Particulate matter dose relationship with lung functions efficiency of children during agriculture crop residue burning episodes” under Dr. Susheel Mittal, Dr. Ravinder Agarwal (EIED) and Dr Avnish (RG Medical College, Patiala).
For JRF, the fellowship is Rs 16,000/- p.m. plus HRA@10% and for Field Attendant, the remuneration shall be Rs 11,581/-pm including HRA. The posts are initially for one year extendable for two years.
Qualification
1. JRF: Candidates should have cleared the ICMR-PGI National Eligibility Test/CSIR/UGC NET test. The applicant should have a Master’s degree in Environment/ Chemistry/ Instrumentation/ Medical with a good academic background. Experience and interest in Environmental Studies is desirable.
2. Field attendant: Candidate should be B.Sc/MSc (non-Medical/ Medical) with first class and an aptitude for working in fields and data collection at sampling sites in Punjab.
