Responsibilities
Shall be a Masters Degree holder in Chemistry with experience in DM plant and Power Plant Chemistry in a coal based thermal power station having individual units of capacity 200 MW or more, Should have good knowledge in DM Plant,ETP and STP commissioning and operation, Should have proven track record in boiler water chemistry, CW treatment, water, coal, oil, ash analysis, Ensure adherence to start up procedures strictly and as per system requirements, DM plant operation management, Resource planning for manpower, materials and annual contracts, He is responsible for preparation of annual budget and strict adherence t0 same, Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various systems, equipments, check lists and log sheets, Ensure adherence to safety, environment and other statutory norms, Responsible foe liasoning with pollution control board for compliances and consent for operation.
