Appointment of Junior Research Fellows/Project Assistants (2012-2017)

Under UPE Phase II, Focus Area: Nanobiotechnology

Applications on plain paper along with detailed bio-data and attested copies of the relevant documents are invited for the appointment of JRF/Project Assistant (3 posts), on a project sanctioned under the University with Potential for Excellence Phase II (UPE Phase II), Focus Area: Nanobiotechnology.

Title of the Project: Synthesis, Characterization and Applications of Novel Nanoparticles for Potential Application in Medicine and Biotechnology.

Number of Posts: 3 (Open: 2 and SC: 1)

Project Duration: 4 to 5 years
(The appointment is initially for 2 years and further extension is based on the satisfactory research performance).

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/- per month, consolidated.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Chemistry/Life Sciences/ Microbiology/Zoology/Nanotechnology

Desirable Qualification: Research experience in the field of nanomaterials/ Experience in handling various biochemical/molecular/ microbiological/ analytical techniques/ Experience in handling cell lines, proteomic studies and biosensors.
