Applications are invited for the award of Senior Research Fellow under National Fellow Research project entitled “Evolution of Textiles Articles Through Processing of Wool with Silk Waste & Cotton to Create Entrepreneurial Skills in Rural Women” in the Department of Clothing and Textiles. The job will involve laboratory work and extensive fieldwork. Research fellow may be required to stay at field site also.
The details of the position are as follows:

4) Qualification - M.Sc. in Home Science/ M.Sc. in Agriculture communication, Chemistry, Environmental
Sciences, Agriculture Economics (Preferably Computer literate).
5) Fellowship - Rs. 16,000/-per month
The award is tenable for the period of three years subject to six monthly review basis. The candidates should apply on plain paper with the following information to Dr. Alka Goel, National Fellow, Deptt. Clothing & Textiles, College of Home Science, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar ( Uttarakhand ).
Last date for application is 31-12-2012 candidates fulfilling the qualifications should appear for Interview on – 01-01-2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the office of the undersigned at the College of Home Science. No separate interview letters will be issued. No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates by the University for attending the interview. There will be no liability on the University, whatsoever on account of the award of Senior Research Fellow in the project. The University, subject to availability and as per rules, may allow residential facilities.
Attested copies of the certificates/degree/testimonials must be enclosed. Originals should be produced at the time of interview. No interim correspondence will be entertained.
