Opening for two Research Positions in sponsored projects in a Lab working on Neurobiology of Sleep
Applications are invited for two temporary posts of JRF/SRF/RA (for CSIR project) and JRF/SRF (for DBT project)
- CSIR sponsored project titled "Neurochemical basis of rapid eye movement sleep regulation in rats"
AND - DBT sponsored project titled "Identifying spatial correlates of biochemical components in the EEG: Experimental and theoretical approaches"
The appointments will be for one year and may be extended, depending on satisfactory progress of the candidate, for the duration of the project.
CSIR/DBT (as the case may be) and JNU rules will be followed for the appointments.

Qualifications :
For JRF - M.Sc. or B.Tech. (Electrical Eng)
For SRF - M.Sc. or B.Tech. (Electrical Eng) with a minimum of two years of active research experience in neurobiology related work; publications will be preferred.
For RA - Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biological Sciences.Desirable : For the CSIR project research experience in chemical analysis/HPLC will be
preferred.For the DBT project M.Sc. in Physics/Maths or B.Tec. (Electrical Eng) or experience in wave form or EEG analysis will be preferredSalary/Fellowship : Fellowship/salary will be granted depending on candidate's qualification, the position at which appointed and CSIR/DBT rules.
