Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - ONE & Laboratory Assistant - ONE
Project Title : Air-Sea fluxes of carbon dioxide from the coastal Bay of Bengal:
Influence of physical and biogeochemical processes.

Project Duration : 3 Years
Position- 1 : Junior Research Fellow ( One)
Essential Qualification :
M.Sc. Inorganic/ bio-inorganic/environmental chemistry with 1st class. Knowledge in
computer programming and operation of packages like MS Office, statistics etc. will be
an added advantage.
Nature of Work : The positions involve extensive lab studies and field work including marine cruises.
Emoluments : Rs.14,000/- (per month) + HRA
Position - 2 : Laboratory Assistant ( One)
Essential Qualification :
B.Sc. With Chemistry as one of the subjects with 1st Class. In special cases candidates
with a 2nd class with experience in chemical analysis or comparable experience may also
be considered.
Nature of Work : The positions involve extensive lab studies and field work including marine cruises.
Knowledge in computer programming and operation of packages like MS Office,
statistics etc. will be an added advantage.
Emoluments : Rs.8,000/- (per month- consolidated)
