Technical Skills
- Handle independent project responsibility with 1-6 FTEs
- Plan work for each project and execute it towards a timeline and maintain productivity
- Should be able to solve problems effectively and independently and provide workable solutions
- Plan project execution with starting material quantities and liaise with purchase to follow up on arrivals and help procurement with the selection of materials
- Prepare and present project status and progress updates to clients
Provide inputs for purchase of equipment - Make quotes for RFQs and calculate project raw material costs and projected timelines
- Get regular updates from the project group
- Contribute to scientific discussions
- Spend a portion of time working in the laboratory on ongoing projects
- Check and maintain up to date lab notebooks for the team on projects
- Mentor and supervise personnel
- Communicate with clients on progress and project status
- Stay current with literature in the scientific area
- Mentor and supervise personnel
- Write project reports containing procedures and experimental details for clients
- Liaise with NJ Bio for ongoing projects and work collaboratively
- Make quotes for RFQs and calculate project raw material costs and projected timelines
- Regular lab duties including equipment maintenance, chemical inventory, and lab cleanup
- Has to be hardworking, sincere, honest, and willing to learn
- Maintain time-sheets and project chemical inventory
- Maintain performance management metrics for personnel
