| Eligibility | We are currently looking for a candidate interested to work in the field of heterogeneous catalysis and materials chemistry. The researchers are mainly experimental and deal with the development of composite materials, multimetal oxide, porous oxide based catalysts for the acid-base and redox reactions. The reactions targeted are important in the production of chemicals for petrochemical (isomerization of alkane, alkene), Bio-gas (trans-esterification), Fine chemicals (oxidation of alkane, alkene, and aromatics). The work will consist of Inorganic materials synthesis, spectro-chemical / analytical characterization and study their catalytic behavior for the above kind of reactions. Candidates for the research scholar position should have a minimum qualification of Master degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with the qualification of CSIR / UGC JRF. |
