One position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is available at the department of Polymer Science
& Technology under the guidance of Prof. P.P. Kundu for a ministry of Food Processing Industries
(MOFPI), Government of India, sponsored research project entitled “ Development of
Antimicrobial Polymeric Nanocomposite film from PET Waste for packing of Milk and Milk
Products”.
Duration of Project: 2 (two) years.
Eligibility for JRF : First class M.Sc. in Chemistry (organic/physical/polymer) / Polymer Science
with NET (NET – LS / GATE qualified candidate may also can apply) or First class M.Tech in Food
Technology/Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Polymer Sc. & Tech. with GATE (JRFprofessional).
Fellowship : @ Rs. 16,000/- (for 2 years) plus 30% HRA plus Rs. 100/- Medical allowance per
month for JRF as per DST/CSIR norms. M.Sc. with NET – LS / GATE will be offered fellowship as
per UGC/CSIR rule.
